Griffin
Access to Griffin is possible from several different areas, with the most well-known route being from Three Valley Gap. The downside is that none of the access trails are groomed, making the ride in rough and bumpy—after a few laps, it can feel more like a snowcross track.
Other popular access points include the Blue Lake groomed trail and the Malakwa Burner Grill area, both well known among local riders.
The north side of Griffin is known for its steep alpine terrain and more open tree riding, with impressive views of Eagle Pass Peak and Queest Mountain. The south side offers beautiful drainages and endless technical tree riding, with access from both the top and bottom.
One of the unique features of Griffin is that much of the ridge top is relatively flat, creating a great area for beginner riders to explore, play around, and practice sidehilling.
