Queest

Queest Mountain is one of the oldest and most established snowmobiling areas around Sicamous. With more than 35 square kilometres of riding terrain and elevations reaching over 2,000 metres, Queest offers a great mix of deep powder, open meadows, technical tree riding, and challenging hill climbs.

The ride up to the cabin is part of the experience. The groomed access trail offers spectacular views over the Eagle Valley, Mara Lake, and Shuswap Lake, making the climb well worth the time. Once you reach the cabin, the terrain opens up with a large meadow area that is perfect for warming up, playing in the powder, or getting comfortable with the mountain.

For more experienced riders, the terrain becomes steeper as you move farther north from the cabin, with bigger climbs and more technical terrain. The elevation also makes Queest a great option later in the season, with riding that can remain enjoyable well into spring.

Queest is not just about big climbs and open alpine terrain. The surrounding drainages and tree-covered areas offer plenty of opportunities for technical riding and exploring. On a clear day, the combination of deep snow, alpine terrain, and panoramic lake views makes Queest one of the most scenic places to ride in the Sicamous area.

Visibility and conditions can change quickly in the mountains. There are also steep areas and cliffs northeast of the cabin that require extra caution, especially when the weather moves in. As always, riders should know the terrain, check avalanche conditions, and be prepared for changing mountain conditions.

For riders looking for a mountain that combines beautiful scenery, deep snow, technical terrain, and long days of exploring, Queest is a must-ride.
